Garden House by the Beach was designed by one of Costa Rica's leading architects, who took full advantage of the spectacular ocean views and dramatic sunsets of Tulemar when designing the house. The house has five bedrooms and 3 baths. It is very family friendly.


The infinity edge pool is the largest pool in Tulemar and also overlooks the ocean. There are indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, including an outdoor fireplace and two bars. There are private terraces upstairs, plus sundecks around the pool. A large grassy area is available for children to play.


Wild life is all around with both its sights and sounds. Howler and white face monkeys are often seen and heard.

Thomas Franz was born and raised in Switzerland, but moved to Quepos / Manuel Antonio a little over 11 years ago with his three children, is now married to wonderful Costa Rican woman. Thomas has been managing villas in the area since arriving and has managed Garden House by the Beach for 3 years. Thomas enjoys the local beaches of Manuel Antonio and international travel on his vacations.

Garden House Rates & Policies
  • • Rates are in US Dollars and valid thru 2012.
  • • Garden House has a minimum 7-night stay, and requires a Saturday arrival and departure day.
  • • Payment Terms: 50% due at time of booking with remainder to be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
  • • Check in time is 4 PM. Check out time is 10 AM
  • • A security deposit of $1,000 cash is required at check-in
  • ♦ Easter is two weeks, March 31 - April 14, 2012 for Garden House
  • ♦ May is $5,400 per week
